Learning something new everyday....( picture)

Been trying to figure out how to get, do, or make a old champ car (sprint) nose, to make a

newer model into a old one,,,, So, i found some blocks of gulf wax a goodwill for .99.

And sit on the front porch for a few hours and cut out the nose i needed,,

I found at the local hobby shop 3/4oz fiberglass (paper thin), layed over the mold (wax)

and mixed 15min Epoxy, and put on it,, It Works, trim sand, prime, and it doesn't stick to the wax..

Just though i'ld share this,

Woulda never thought to use parrafin!

Maybe I can try this technique for replicating small parts? Trying elmers glue And silly putty experimentally
