RedIndian2000 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Just a regular Revell/Monogram kit that I built a few years ago. It's a 1/24 Buick GSX 2 'n 1 that I built as a Stage 2 GSX. The paint is 5 coats of Krylon yellow, wet sanded, polished, and buffed, no clear coat. I added wiring on the engine, flocking, and bare metal foil. The decals didn't just break like I've experienced before, but disintegrated in a few spots and gave me a hard time touching up. I'm planning to build a 1987 GNX to go with it soon.
Custom Mike Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Great job Adam, that paint is beautiful! One of the most under-rated and unappreciated Muscle Cars out there, the Skylarks were some really mean machines!
Monty Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Nice work on that Buick, Adam! Hope we'll see more of your work soon.
W-409 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Very nice Buick! One of the nicest cars Buick ever made, your version does it a justice. Very good paint job and nice detailing all over. I really like this one. And hey- Can't wait to see the GNX. There can never be enough Grand Nationals.
slusher Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Excellent looking build, really nice detail...
RedIndian2000 Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 Thanks for compliments everyone. I really enjoy building models and sharing them is even more fun.
66belair Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Looks great! I've built a couple of these myself years ago one in yellow and the other in white .
