Badluck 13 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Kevin, both look great, what paint did you use for the interior on the ZR-2??,looks very real...
Pullin Gears Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Thanks, the interior is the stock molded plastic
charlie8575 Posted February 10, 2013 Posted February 10, 2013 You brush-painted and polished that ZR-2?? Wow, that polished out nicely. (I ask as I interpret "hand-painted" as using a paint brush vs. can or airbrush). Both of those came out nicely. The 409-powered S-10 will be fun to consider. Charlie Larkin
MsDano85gt Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 Nice real lookin master cylAnder! WHat do you use for the coiled up line? I use coiled up guitar string on some of my models and it looks pretty good not as nice as yours tho
Pullin Gears Posted February 11, 2013 Author Posted February 11, 2013 Thanks! Jonathan-The 4X4 S10 is a promotional model I detailed Charlie- Yep, I used Pledge to shine up the purple S10 and a small detail brush and some Testor's brush silver to paint the ZR2 logos Daniel- I used detail master line that I wrapped around a toothpick to get the coils
JasonFL Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 These are also some nice s10's kev. You did some real nice work here with some cool details. I think I'm still more a fan for the old school copper build tho. That last photo was a tease, really looking forward to seeing what that's going to look like. Keep it up.
