samurai7 Posted September 16, 2013 Author Posted September 16, 2013 Its getting close....Can't wait to see the kit.
sjordan2 Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I don't recall if it was part of the original offering, but I see the Pocher site also lists a display case.
samurai7 Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 I think the display case is a separate item...an addtional $200+....its suppose to suit other Pocher vehicles....I'm thinking of getting granite or marble base and have a plastics company make the acrylic case....something wider and taller ...so i can display doors and boot lid opened.

Correct- size the case to fit open features but not way oversized. Instead of plastic, consider glass for the case. Much more clear and never rag scratches from cleaning. A picture framer would have no problem making you one and may cost around the same. Don't scrimp-you're starting with an $800 model. http://
samurai7 Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 Cato nice display case....I'm thinking a pedestal display case would also look really nice...they can get pricey...I can probably make the cabinet part myself.
Cato Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 If you can make a cabinet, you can make a glass case.
Tony T Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Man, that looks like a great kit...may have to see if I can swing it for one...
Chuck Kourouklis Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Yup. At a roughly 600-piece count, it seems to pick up where the diecast Ferraris left off, but the engineering of those parts seems a lot more comprehensive and lifelike in this one. If the kit delivers on the finish of the prototypes, we should have a pretty significant improvement for right about the same price as the F40 when it was new, as adjusted for inflation. Got an order in on one in Arancia...
samurai7 Posted September 18, 2013 Author Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) I ordered one in Bianco Isis....i assume with black interior....I hope we see some aftermarket wheels...Some of the tuned-out 1:1's have some sinister wheels for this car... Anybody thinking about doing a repaint? I was thinking Matt Black.. Watch....it'll be the color available in 2014! Edited September 18, 2013 by samurai7
thinkbig Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) Will wait and see, how the factory paintjob of my Isis White Aventador is done. Unfortunately the white version will take about a month longer than the Orange one for delivery. The zero-series, shown at the Nuremburg toy fair had some imperfections, but it's said to be overworked until product launch. Never mind, cause I'm tempted to do the grigio estoque paint. samurai7 Posted September 20, 2013 Author Posted September 20, 2013 According to Brady Ward from Scale Autoworks.........It looks like orders for the white Aventador will recieve theirs first...in late October...and the orange will follow 2-3 weeks later.....I'm glad I switched my order for the white...
Chuck Kourouklis Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Yeah. Just got that email too. 'Salright, got plenty to stay busy in the meantime...

Nice color...Might I suggest painting the calipers yellow...and maybe a Gotham license plate????.
samurai7 Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 (edited) http://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3768748 Here's a collectors Amalgam Aventador...(DKR), Gosh! at $6414.74.....you would think that they would offer more than just the doors opening! I'm glad I went with Pocher Edited September 27, 2013 by samurai7
samurai7 Posted October 3, 2013 Author Posted October 3, 2013 The parts layout on Pocher facebook...lots of parts! Spectacular! https://www.facebook.com/PocherModelKits#!/photo.php?fbid=377651435671319&set=a.373524372750692.1073741828.373511779418618&type=1&theater
Chuck Kourouklis Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 VERY cool! The game has evidently moved up a bit since the Ferraris...
samurai7 Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 Yes I agree...I hope the transkits are more affordable...I would love to super detail this.. I like how Scale Auto Works allowed me to pay for the car in small payments...or I wouldn't be able to get the Aventador.
samurai7 Posted October 8, 2013 Author Posted October 8, 2013 (edited) Bianco Isis pics on Pocher's facebook page....I'm wondering if we can adjust the ride height...I think she's riding a little high...(for my taste) Edited October 9, 2013 by samurai7

The engine is amazing.
samurai7 Posted October 12, 2013 Author Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) I'm also hearing of a possible DMC or Novitech Tornado transkit for this.... but a Mansory Carbonado would also be killer! Edited October 12, 2013 by samurai7
Bennyg Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 I've checked with my wife. She's asked me, "Is it over $1000?" To which my reply was "nooooo." She seems half keen as the body work doesn't need painting. Ben

Cato Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 The half-molded differential and shaft boots are a negative surprise in an $800 kit... Where else did they skimp?
