Rattle can issues

I've been trying to paint an AMT 71 duster I have a can of M.M. Sublime green. When I spray it's very heavy and I get big specks of paint. I've shaken the can til my arm fell off. I've soaked the can in warm water. Anybody else have any ideas to what the problem may be

Maybe the nozzle is clogged. Try soaking it in thinner.

l have had that problem Dave, l would soak the nozzle or trade with another can. There is a chance it the paint. l would try it on something else when test spraying. Sorry to here of your problem but testors are known for spitting....

Thats the only issue I ever have with MM colors.....I learned to decant, or back way up..18 to 24" and waste a lot of paint misting

Not only is Testors spray paint notorious for being thick , it's also a painfully-slow drying paint ! But , it hasn't always been that way ! I noticed that their paints --at least their enamels-- were getting yucky back in the late 90's . Prior to that , I never had a problem with their paints , dry time or otherwise .

Be careful with how much of that paint you lay down on that Duster's body , as the side markers , the gas cap and the door lines are pretty faint on their own !
