JamesW Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I'm IN LOVE. My very first car was a 78 Bird. Loved that car.
gray07 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Love these t-birds, i think the best riding t-birds.
impcon Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 We have an '80 Cougar and we bought our eldest son a VERY clean, totally solid '79 Thunderbird for his graduation present. he still has the car but he doesn't drive it because he lives in town and he is afraid that someone may damage it sitting on the street. It's stored at his girl friend's parents farm. These little Birds and Cougars are a forgotten car but ours was very reliable, comfortable and cheap to run. It's nice to see one of these being preserved. Good for you and congratulations.
wrecker388 Posted March 3, 2013 Author Posted March 3, 2013 I'm glad you guys like the car, it's sorta like a family heirloom as my mom has owned it since 1980.So far all i've done to the old beast is swept out a million mouse turds (that wasn't fun) and rebuilt the carburetor.
