Alex Breza Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Well here's one of my cars I completed nothing fancy and I'm no expert on taking pictures. New here so I'm open to learn and comments suggestions are welcome.
TooOld Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 It looks good in black and I love those 409's ! Try some black wash to really make those wheels pop ! Just thin some black paint until it is real watery and let it flow into the spokes with a small brush , any excess can be easily wiped off before it dries . It's easy and I think you'll like the results ! And welcome to the forum !

cobraman Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Looks good. Bob is spot on about the wash on the wheels. It will make all the difference in the world.
Alex Breza Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 Ditto, plus Bare Metal Foil on the trim. Nice work otherwise. Some basic ignition wiring would help too. Thanks Lee.

Johnt671 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I'm doing this kit now. I just started back modeling now that I'm retired. I found this kit and a 66 Impala SS396 kit for my first two builds as I owned both cars in the past. I have some pictures of both car so I'm making both of them as close as I can to the pictures as I can. Nice job on yours.
Alex Breza Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 Thanks John. It's nice to get back into the hobby and when you are finished post the pics. I'm still going to add a little more detail to mine unfortunatley didn't get to it this weekend.
