Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 im looking at some amt sprint cars on craiglist they are from 1975 two of them never been opened yet and one is opened but not built. are they worth buying? thanks Jake bowling
mmdm4 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Don't pay over 20.00 each and they are worth it. Older sprint and Nascar kits are a dime a dozen, at the shows they are usually 15.00 each.
Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 my big issue with them is the shipping is crazy. lol there in Indiana

Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 They want 40 but willing to come down and shipping is like 30 dollars
mmdm4 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 $40 for all 3 isn't a bad price, but you could ship all 3 at once for around $8-10 bucks!
Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) Ok I'm checking shipping quotes now Edited March 27, 2013 by Jakezilla bowling
Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 If done deal like this before and it cost me 30 to ship and took 3 days from Detroit to Northren Kentucky
MAGNUM4342 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 my big issue with them is the shipping is crazy. lol there in Indiana Indiana to Kentucky? Better negotiate!
Jakezilla bowling Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 But the person selling them will not drive anywhere to meet him.
mmdm4 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I'd give $40 for all three and no more than $12 to ship.
kalbert Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Are they kits that you really want? Have you seen them for sale before? Are you planning to build them or resell? Worth is very much in the eye of the beholder.
Casey Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Are they kits that you really want? Have you seen them for sale before? Are you planning to build them or resell? Worth is very much in the eye of the beholder. Exactly. They are worth what you're willing to pay for them. If the seller agrees they are worth the same amount, you'll have a deal. Nobody can tell you if they're worth buying. Only you can decide that for yourself.
