Modlbldr Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 (edited) Here is mine. I started it back in '99 with a then new Vette. Shortened body about 1/2 inch behind the doors, reshaped door openings, Porsche headlight buckets, sectioned front pan, rolled rear pan, custom engine bay, windshield frame from a 53 Ford Convertible, Vette interior and chassis/suspension. I put it aside when I hit MAJOR modifications on the rear suspension. /IMG_20130406_204526.jpg Later- Edited April 7, 2013 by Modlbldr

My memory is not the best now-a-days. I used those parts in the Gold one that I built as a drag car. If it wasn't for you I couldn't have finished this car. Many thanks go out to you for the help. I hope that you can finish this car. Dan
surfjunke Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 A lot of really great looking Studes. Some very cool ideas & builds. I have never built this kit, but you guys have got me very interested. I will have to pick one up. I have done a 1/43rd scale Stude from a hot Wheels die cast that was modeled after the Revell Miss Deal. I built it as a Pro Touring ride.
Modlbldr Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Many nice looking Studes here. Dan- I do believe it was me who sent you those parts. I know I sent them to someone. Glad I could help you out and that it got finished. Yes, I do need to finish mine. The problem I am having is figuring out how and where to cut the rear axle set up on the Vette to get it narrow enough to fut the rear tires under the body. I'll get back to it soon enough. Later-
