High octane
Stunning work on that Outlaw and it would look a lot better on my shelf. Maybe one day I'll break out a Roth kit and build it?
Dyno Davo
Fantastic! The front wheels are amazing, for sure. I'm wondering how you got the decals to lay down so nice. They're quite a task. Hi Dean, yep the decals were a challenge, generally for that type of decal going onto a complex surface I use quite warm water to soak the decal in and then lots of Microsol decal setting solution (blue bottle), you can then generally work them down fine using that process. After they are dry I apply Tamiya clear gloss to the entire body. totaly outstanding ,, a few Q's , i assume you stripped the chrome plating before alclad , the springs , i would like to see pics of how that was done , and you must show how you did the wheels and the gauges , oh and what do you eat, maybe that has something to do with how you do what you do lol Hi anne, have you been on a caffeine fix ? (LOL) Yep the original chrome was stripped using a Caustic bath, then the parts cleaned up and re-chromed using Tamiya gloss black and then Alclad. I post some close up pics of the wheels and gauges later this week. The kit spring pieces were just substituted with chrome springs I found in the jewellery making section of my local craft shop. Ant
This looks fantastic, I just pulled one of these out of my dusty pile of kits to build and got as far as trying to work out what colour the motor should be

Greg Myers
At a loss for some adjectives , then reading some of the other post I found just the right term, FINE WORK. The front wheels really make it happen. Fine Work
Steven2
Beautiful! That's not an easy kit to do a quality build of but you've pulled it off nicely.
