All three of the entex 1/8 car kits command big $$$... They do rise & fall a bit with the market, and I have seen this kit bring $1200 in the past. The JPS car brings big dollars too; but the Marlboro car kills them all....I have seen the marlboro car sell in excess of $2200 on several occasions. I will also say that having built the RSR Porsche on more than one occasion; Dollars do not always equate to quality. The RSR is "wonky" at Best; virtually EVERY part of the model needs some type of fit adjustment, just to look decent....The biggest issue with the RSR is that the wheelbase of the chassis tub is NOT the same as the wheelbase of the body; and THAT is not an easy fix.... It's a shame the tooling wasn't better on this kit; but I guess they all can't be Tamiya 934/5's

You think that's a high price for a kit?

Have you bid on a Pocher Rolls Royce or Bugatti lately?

No, most of us don't make the big bucks like you do!!!:lol::lol:

Many years ago the local K-Mart store was selling those Pocher kits for $29.95. Also back in the day a local toy store had floor to cieling Revell double kits for $0.50 ea.

Hindsight being 20/20 wish I knew then what I know now.

The 60 Ford Sunliner I just built for a client he paid $165.00 for. But it was mint sealed.

Someone will want it badly enough to pay that much for it. I really, really want a Johan '67 Fury kit, but I have my limits for what I would pay for one. To each his or her own.
