Custom Hearse Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 This brought a tear to my eye... http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaaf-dr-saturday/7-old-cancer-survivor-runs-touchdown-during-nebraska-233901185--ncaaf.html
Monty Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 BIG10 Network was televising Nebraska's Spring game Saturday, so I got to watch it live. This video was all over the place by Sunday. Here's some basic background on the kid: Back in April 2011, Hoffman was diagnosed with a brain tumor, according to The Daily Nebraskan. He has had two surgeries since and is now on a break for two weeks from a 60-week chemotherapy course, per ESPN.com. Puts a lot of my problems in their proper perspective.
slusher Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I saw that on the news yesterday. It was great watching him on tv but a sad story. Sometimes we don't know how much we are blessed..
gbdolfans Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I saw this on the show Inside Edition. It is nice to know there are still people that care about someone else.It is not a me first world. I have a bad case of Planter Fasciitis in my right foot, but, reading this story and watching the video,it doesn't hurt near as much. Thanks for posting it and now I will get back to building.
