I might have to post pone my model projects for the time being due to it's hard to type with one hand right as I was bitten by a rotyler/lab mix dog the other day. Right hand 4 fingers got it good, I can't bend two of the 4 fingers that was bitten. So I might be offline for afew weeks maybe.

I hope they got the dog and are checking him for rabies. You need to be checked as well. Hope you recover soon.

Do you know the dogs owner? Hope you recover fully.... I hate hearing people getting bit by dogs. As a lifetime pet owner I know there's some responsibility on the owners end.

Get well, the models will still be there.

I was a attacked by a customers dog two weeks ago. It was a Chihuahua luckily but still got a good chunk of my leg. I'm lucky it wasn't a big dog.

Sounds like you're going to be alright. Just make sure you're up to date on your tetnis shot

Hi you all, my hand is still in the healing stages yet and starting to do well and move like it always did. Yes I know the owners. The thing is this, the dog was dropped off and lefted. My wife called and called got voice mails each time. Then I had her dial the woman back as I had sure and bleeding hand. I left a rude message for both owners. The seconds letter my wife got a call back from the owners. They was pose to come back and get there dog at 3PM last Friday. By 9PM after calls and calls and calls it was then clear they wasn't planning to come and get the dog at all so I had to call my mother-in-law in as shes a full member of the animal place and have her make the owners come and get the dog. My brother-in-law couldn't even get up close to the dog.. only the one owner could.

Around here to check a dog for rabies they have to put the dog down and send the head off to be checked

Well, if a dog attacks, I have no issues with that being done to it.

Sounds like a bit more of the territorial Rottie was showing through in that dog. I have a Lab, and in general, they're pretty sweet. Mine doesn't even know how to growl. I hope that hand heals up quick, since not being able to build can be a real downer.

Around here, they just check with the animals vet and check its vaccinations.

Any dogs running loose l don't know l let the dog catcher find the owner. so many children in neighborhood playing and l don't want them or mine to get bitten. l really hope your hand gets better.

Place I lived and worked for the Fire Dept. We were designated animal control also.

Strays, or dogs with no collars and or tags we made three attempts at catching. If the dog was over aggressive or kept avoiding capture, we were authorized to put them down using a .22 rifle provided by the city.(only had to do that with two)
