AMT Ice Cycle

I just opened this kit to start on it and it seems there are a bunch of parts that don't show in the instructions I have (1 sheet double sided). Anybody have any idea what the extra stuff is? I tried Drastic Plastic for kit instructions but the site is gone.

Thanks, Carl. Drastic Plastic looks different than it used to. I wasn't able to locate Ice Cycle and will look again later.

I think I have it figured out. I did a google search and found something made by MPC - a bike with a sidecar. I have to figure out how to get some 1/12 scale tires.

Do the wheels in the Ice Cycle scale out to 1/12 scale? I just looked at the kit yesterday and they look pretty big for 1/25 scale.

A friend wants a Bicycle (Tricycle) version to replicate one he use to own and sell

It says 1/12 scale right on the box and it's a bicycle kit - no engines (yet).

Backdating it to look like what my friend owned should not be too hard.

Depending on if the Stylized seat/back rest is Frame or add-on.

Here's the extra parts in the Ice Cycle kit. It's 1/12 scale and I'm thinking an engine from a Revell chopper kit. Anybody have 2 rear and 1 front tire they'd like to trade?

You must have an original issue kit, as RC2, when they re-issued this kit decided to label it (and the 1/12 Shaker Trike) as 1/25 scale on the box, when both kits are in fact 1/12 scale.

Whatever you say, Casey. I'm sure you more about it than I do. In either case, the Ice Cycle is in prime. That weird sidecar thingie will wait until I can get my hands on some Revell chopper tires (2 rear, 1 front). Maybe I'll put out the word in the wanted section. That would make sense, huh?
