Help finding wheels?

I've got a vision in my head for this GT350 kit I got without rims and tires...

My problem is, where can I find some large-diameter Halibrand (or similar) style wheels?

I'v seen that wheel on e-bay . Resin,not plated. I can't remember the seller. But he has some very nice stuff-

the tires and rims in 1/24 scale are in the Monogram Shelby Cobra 427 S/C kit.

here they are on my GT350, and they went right on. no problem.

One thing to note. The Monogram Shelby wheels have six spokes, while the wheels James shows are five spokes.

Some Jada 1/32 scale die-cast models (GT40 for one) include Shelby/Halibrand wheels, but the knock-offs are molded as one with the wheel and would take a lot of time and some very careful work to remove.

Chuck, while those wheelse do look good, I am looking to go more modern "pro-touring" look, and those aren't quite big enough

Steve Zimmermann from PA does some nice ones with turned aluminum rims and resin centers, in 18" and a 19/23" combo pack; I got a set of the 18's from him at this past weekend's NNL East. I don't have any pics, but I alerted him to this thread through Facebook.

You can also use the rims in the R/M Monte Carlo green lowrider kit, grind the lip that holds the tire on, and put Pegasus sleeves on them for the rears. I have made a couple sets but have not painted the centers as of yet. I want to.

Green 75 ish Monte Carlo snap kit has them. Just add the spinners. Dig around the truck section and find my 50 ford truck wip. It has them. I left the centers chrome and put Pegasus hoops on the rears
