Brett Barrow Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 They do indeed, thanks! I had checked around a few places and just found SS hoods and taller cowl hoods.
Brett Barrow Posted May 4, 2013 Author Posted May 4, 2013 I've read you can with trimming. I don't have an AMT 67/68 on hand, though. Still weighing my options, anyway. Just thinking out loud...
azers Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Amt and mpc hoods interchange from 67 through 69 but i havent been able to get the revell to fit or visa versa because the hood is really thin on the edges on the revell and thick on the edges of the amt mpc.
mikemodeler Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Replicas and Minatures of Maryland has them , SRD 7104 is the SS hood and SRD 7103 is the flat hood. These are designed for the Revell kits.
george 53 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 Nope, the hoods are NOT an EXACT fit. You WILL have to either file the edges OR add 10,000 ths sheet plastic to the edges to make them fit, DEPENDING on if your adding an AMT 67/68 hood to a Revell kit, or vis/versa. They MUST be slightly modified. they are NOT drop in fits, and YES the sculpture lines WILL line up.
