I am in and out of the hobby and I'm not always up to date on what's going on. I saw some items from Reliable Resin that I would like to order. A few years back I heard that their customer service wasn't very good. I'm wondering if they are still in business and if the customer service has improved.

Just last week I emailed Don about getting 4 of his street tubs (they really nice castings). The reply came back that in 4 - 6 weeks after placing my order, the merchandise would arrive. I asked Don to make and send me 4 units and would pay him within 2 days of receipt. He didn't like that idea. Oh well.

....and I'm guessing you can't quote his reply here because this is a family show?

Actually Don was quite pleasant in his reply. When I placed an order with him 2 years ago and was wondering what ever happened to it, I talked to Don several times on the phone. He's a character and casts some very nice parts. Too bad he can't supply those parts in a timely fashion.

Everything I ever got from him was unusable garbage !!!! Some of you may have seen his 66 Cyclone body that I relisted on Ebay a couple years back to show just how bad and unusable the junk he pushes is ..........................

Reliable Resin is a hot button topic here, and if you want to see why, look at the topics mentioning that company's name in this very forum section, as Jon suggested above. You can't post a link to a search result, so you'll have to do it yourself, but the end result is always more drama. You can get a pretty good idea from the search results, so please use that to make your decision, Karl.

Please check you PMs, Karl.
