Blackwolf
Hi all I was wondering is there someplace that I can order the metal rods for making axles for the trailers and etc.... I'm waiting on some styrene to get here and I wanted to make my own trailers maybe the auto haulers. Since I really enjoyed that job because if the customer doesn't pay then he doesn't get his cars. Thanks a lot for all of your help

Edsel-Dan
Hobby Shops can usually get you K&S rod if they don't carry it regularly. Just Watch watch you pick. I bought a 3 pack of 1/16 Rod, but got "Music Wire" It is almost Impossible to Cut!! I have to use Vise-Grips and adjust Down to Final cut. Then File the cut smooth. If I had my rotary tool tool available, I could likely cut it faster, easier, and Smoother!!
Ace-Garageguy
Copper coated mild steel gas welding rod in 1/16" diameter and up (it comes in 36" lengths) is perfect, cuts easily, and costs very little. Available at welding supply stores.
