Been wanting to pick one of these re-issues up, but wanted some input from anybody who has built this kit. Any of the usual fit issues with the older molds? ect...

Got mine hooked to one of the Revell semi snap Petes. got it weathered up some and have a load of logs I trimmed from my oak tree branches. Came out good, happy with it. Good luck with yours. I'm from Akron by the way. Moved to Fla. last year

picked up a second one. its a great kit, the extra parts they give you for the tractor makes it worth it alone

not too bad, had a few warped parts [tow bar sections--not sure what else to call it], and sanding/filing the inside of the main chassis that the bar goes thru is a must [was for me anyway]. it was my second build and I managed it ok B)

Nice build. The "tow bar" is called the Reach, which by the way in this Peerless kit is severely under sized. the correct size for the reach would be 3/8" square. then the receiver tube in the trailer will need to be enlarged to accept the larger reach.

thank you for the kind comment on my build. I was told that the log trailer kit was originally designed to be smaller scale, I wonder if that's why it is like it is?
