started a small re-build of one of my earlyer builds ...

the boxart

this builkd involved my firts ever top chop , chenneled body and bed , and a custom made grille of the original front

i wanted a recogniseble grille but still fenderless

painted it gloos black back then

i actually never ever tried the hair-spray and salt technique and i used this model as a test case ..

this is what i came up with today , put some weathered numbers on the doors

i want to give it a nicer exhaust / wheels and dress up the engine a bit better

well in a few moths there is a big modelshow here and they asked to show my garage diorama there so i reconed this would look cool in the garage .. and i just wanted to see this truck in a weathered look , i always wondered how it would look

Richard, good job! ...weathered finishes are so much more interesting and creative. Shiny is for new cars that hav'nt been enjoyed yet LOL - Bill P.S. turn the air cleaner 180 degrees its backward.
