Modelcollector Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 My Lindberg 34 Ford truck. Mods include: shortened bed, boxed rear crossmember to raise rear ride height, Revell 32 Ford front axle, 4 links, headlights, taillights. Tires and engine from Revell 48 Ford. Paint is Duplicolor Chrysler Forest Green Pearl. Inspiration is from Rod & Custom's July 2013 issue.
peekay Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 I really like the colour, concept and mods you made. This is another kit that I still like nearly 50 years after it's first appearance. (BTW there might be more response if the fotos were clearer.)
rmvw guy Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Nice job on a retro look. After building 4 or 5 of the same kit I have yet to build one fenderless but, always wanted to. A chopped top would be cool also. I love the '34 Ford pickup!
Tom Geiger Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 IIRC the Lindberg kit is not that great. Nice job. The Lindberg '34 IS the same kit as the earlier AMT versions. Tooling got lost and Lindberg found it. You may be thinking of the Lindberg '32 Ford pickup, which is a bit of a challenge.
tooltas Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 the linderg's 32 truck is a tad small for 1/24 but im thinking it more 1/32 scale.
