Thanks Paul and Matija for the info.

I really the body style.

Tim this car is looking good after all these years. No it is not perfect , but for a 50 year old car that has not been well cared for, not to shabby . I was at the Detroit Autorama in 2012 . Most people just walked past her. My brother and I stopped dead in our tracks.

Always been interested in this kit. But, I've heard so many bad things about it. Looking at the instructions for the kit have also scared me away from this kit a bit. How bad is it really? I've been models for close to 50 years now. I've build some kits that people told were a pain, and had no troubles. Others? Trouble! Round 2/Lindberg still offers the kit. How have the dies held up over the years? I'm also interested in the old IMC/Lindberg Cougar II show car. Are the two kits worth picking up and building?

Thanks, y'all

Scott, I built both this and the Cougar II. I found them both relatively easy to build. Some of the parts had alot of flash on them, but everything cleaned up very nicely without too much trouble. I didn't find them to be a pain at all. If the subject matter interests you, I'd say pick 'em up. Between the two, the Mustang II was the easiest to work with.

Good to know Scott. Thanks

Just saw this thread...does anyone know anything about the chassis? Maybe I'm crazy here, but thinking this might help me with my Ohio George Ranchero (shock towers, etc).....
