welcome aboard Chris..go down to your local hobby shop and look around....there is nothing like hands on...i'm still like a kid in a candy store when i get in one..lol..

Welcome , Build what you want to build and if you run in to any problems with that kit just ask or even better yet. Create a WIP and many people here will be able to point out the flaws and highlights of that kit you are building and provide tips.

Welcome, Chris. If you're near the central, Hartford area, stop at Time Machine Hobby in Manchester for a model treat! They have extensive car kits and supplies. I grew up in East Hartford and visit there whenever I'm back. Just get something that floats your boat and enjoy!

Welcome to the forum Chris, you have come to the right place for all things modeling, lots of top notch builders here, most are willing to give advice, as far as your first build you gotta make the call on that one, but I agree with most of the other replys you got just go to your local hobby shop and pick up whatever you like and go with it, hope this helps. welcome for first kit.... if your in to semi trucks get one of revels older pet/kw snapfast truck they are not snapers of past... or revels hotrod 32 fords.
