gobobbie Posted June 17, 2013 Posted June 17, 2013 In my youth I did a lot of plastic modeling. Then the Navy and some other things took me away. So a few months ago, the wife and I were at a yard sale and there on a table was the monogram Paddy Wagon still in the wrapper for a big 3 dollars. I told my wife that I remember building one and then 3 bucks later and then a lot of bucks to build up supplies and tools and I am back in business. Bob Gregory
OldTimer50707 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Welcome to the forum. I can tell you've already been bitten.
Chris White Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Welcome to plastic rehab, Robert. I am happy to be an addict !!!
Sixties Sam Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Welcome. Bob! Your story is familiar to me. I built model cars as a teen in the 1960's, then got into R/C planes (which I still build and fly), and didn't build cars for 32 years. I bought a Revell 32 Ford coupe at a Michael's store in 2003, and I'm back for 10 years now. It gets in your blood, I guess! Sam
