Blown03SVT Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 What comes to mind first? Some piece of trash up on blocks behind the local redneck gas station with the homeless tweaker living in it. And that's being kind. I thought we were talking about Chargers not Camaros... LOL! J/K...
VERNON Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 1971....I had a 1971 Charger R/T 440 sixpack, slapstick, air grabber hood and front & rear spoilers..Red with black interior. I bought the car in 1974 and kept it till 1983 when I decided to try stock car racing. The racing thing was very short lived and regreted selling the Charger ever since. In my heart the 1971 will always be my favorite, but love all from 1966 - 1974. Vernon
Danno Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 What comes to mind first? Some piece of trash up on blocks behind the local redneck gas station with the homeless tweaker living in it. And that's being kind. Pablo Escobar is very dead.

caine440 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 The first thing that comes to mind is win lights in the other lane... Dale Only if the other lane also has a Charger!

tabsscale1 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I'm thinking I am glad I don't own one as they have never caught my eye as a good looking car!
Greg Myers Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 I'm thinking something about the eye of the beholder.
caine440 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Really nice Charger Greg! Those wheels look great on it.
tubbs Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I think of the picture first....... then 68/69...... then move to daytonas...... that's about it.
Danno Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 I'm thinking something about the eye of the beholder. I've always liked that car, Greg. But do us a favor, man. Cover up them knees!
Guest Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Stunning Charger! Danno, you like that, why not the General?
Greg Myers Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 I did have a heck of a time gittin' the flag offen the roof.
Chuck Kourouklis Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 (edited) Yup. Bullitt and the Dukes drilled in that 2nd-gen. 1st-gen next, fuselage cars just behind, then the 2nd-gen 4-doors (the current ones) for me. V8, rear drive. Got no use for any Omni in drag unless it's gotten a REAL drag treatment like Al's above - and that one is slick, no question. Edited July 16, 2013 by Chuck Kourouklis
Danno Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Stunning Charger! Danno, you like that, why not the General? Greg's car is tasteful.
Harry P. Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Greg's car is tasteful. That's not just a good looking Charger... that's one of the best looking cars ever, IMO.
martinfan5 Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 That's not just a good looking Charger... that's one of the best looking cars ever, IMO. Its even better looking in person
Harry P. Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Its even better looking in person I don't doubt it. A classic design, one of the best ever from MOPAR. Or anyone!
Guest Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 That design should be in the best 10 automotive designs ever, close to if not #1.
Greg Myers Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 The caps are a lot of trouble. Run with out them now, Shelby style.
