I started this project this past Jan. this is for my brother in-law to match his 1:1 that is also a WIP. I've started with the Trumpeter 63 Chevy Nova SS. The engine has been replaced with a 383 stroker with headers and a custom exhaust. I have to wait until I have the body installed to put the tail pipes in for finial alignment. Wheels and tires have been changed out as well. I picked up the PE kit for it as well and have started installing it on the interior and the truck so far. I air brushed with Tamiya TS-55 dark blue and 3 coats of Model Masters ultra gloss clear coat and lots of sanding and polishing. I also ran the fuel line and heater hoses and spark plug wires. Will add the battery cables next. My goal is have it finished by August. I still have some touch up to do on the BMF. I have been checking in with my brother in-law to get the details as I'm in Texas and he's in Cal. This is the first model that has taken me more that 2 months to finish alive been taking my time with this one and redoing things to get them just right. Please provide feed back on my progress so far as I'm wanting to make this a show peace for my brother in-law. Here is my progress shots.

What rear did you use? I am using a 69 Camaro rear. Did you use the kit front? If so, how did you attach the wheels?

Lee, I used the 67 Camaro for my rear end and wheels. I used the Nova's tires in the front and also used the brake drum. The Nova tires fit perfict on the Camaro rims.
