Porscheman Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) I painted this one Tamiya maroon with black interior. No clear coat was needed. The paint came out perfect, if I do say so myself. I know there aren't any mirrors, but kits of this era just didn't supply them.Let me know what you think.Al Edited July 15, 2013 by Porscheman
cobraman Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Never been a fan of the "big birds" but your build looks great. No mirrors ? Don't tell you know who ! : )
Scuderia Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 Man that's pretty, and that shine is boss. Very nicely done!

Porscheman Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Thank you guys. It's not often that a paint job comes out this nice without any clear. I also gave my windows a light coat of Tamiya's Clear blue to simulate tinted glass.
Sixties Sam Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Those big 'Birds weren't my favorites, but your model is very well done! Great finish, and the tinted glass is a nice touch. Good job! Sam
slusher Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Beautiful build Al, you nailed the paint. Love the color. l like all T-Birds...
