Ira... I am enjoying watching this come together. This coming weekend I am going to look for some Deals wheels kits at a local swap meet. I really think it would just be a fun build. I remember seeing a '69 Chevelle at a show years ago, it was purple and I always told myself I could find it I have to pick it up But Hopefully i will be able to find a cool one to pick up. Thanks for the inspiration Ira.

Why, oh, why do I keep wanting to say, 'Fraggle Racer?'

PLAYING IN THE MUD!

After a little bit of rough sanding I applied some Squadron Putty. Then I put the body in the dehydrator for about an hour, to dry the putty.

Woo Hoo, another Cool 'n' Creative build from Ira's bench! The Camaro and '57 Chevy fit together surprisingly well, and I bet this will be another winner when finished. Great work again!

I wish I had half your imagination, Ira. Your building is fun to watch, too.

Thanks!

You've got a good eye for what to do to pull all of this craziness together. Rolling those front fenders in and closing the tail with a rolled pan was just exactly spot-on. :)

Thanks for the kind words Bill!

GAPS!

I have 2 gaps in the Underside and it hangs down too low...

DSCN4552H_zps56fd275c.jpg

I filled the gaps with plastic strip and glued them in place.

I marked a starting point where I will cut off some of the low area...

I cut the extra underside plastic away. Here is the final shape!
