Pete J. Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 This is cool! I was over on the IPMS site and saw this stuff announced. http://www.tshobbies.com/Laser-Wood-parts_c279.htm I know that aircraft and ship builders have had laser cut wood for years for ship decks and WWI aircraft parts. Now we have them for pickup beds and woodys. I hope they start doing dash panels and other parts.
sfhess Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 3D printing can be done with material that has wood mixed in with it. The folks who demonstrated 3D printing at GSL had some examples on display. Very cool.
Tom Geiger Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Wow! That woody body looks very cool for that price.
TSHobbies Posted August 31, 2013 Posted August 31, 2013 Hello everyone. Id like to present our next set of laser cut wood products. This time we worked on the Revell 1/24 1940 Ford custom pickup. We offer a few different options on this... first is the bed liner itself, which includes the channel strips ,side rail replacements, and inserts for the side walls and tail gate to fill in those voids. All of these can be found here http://www.tshobbies.com/Laser-Wood-parts_c279.htm We also offer this same set with custom engraved logos. This isnt limited to whats show, the image is almost endless.. We also offer a liner for the bed cover that comes with the kit. This is sold separate ,since some might just want the cover on.

Bowtienutz Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Interesting product I just placed an order. Ironically I just pulled a 40 Ford pickup from the stash last night and started thinking of what I wanted to do with it. I also ordered the model A woody kit, because I couldn't resist.
