Johnny1973 Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Interior After the pictures were taken I try to test fit the front windshield and the radar gun was in the way. I guess when I tried to test fit my measurements were off.I repostion the radar next to the rearview mirror as on the real car.I found a webite. New location for the radar gun. Each Mustang was fitted with different equipment by each division of the Florida Highway Patrol.
slusher Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice progress John, mustang is looking great...
Bonekrosha Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Really nice job you are doing, beautiful! Most of the FHP Mustangs near where I lived had the wheels painted flat back and the center caps left in their natural brushed aluminum finish.
Johnny1973 Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Thank you Michael,Depending on the year of the Mustang most had the flat black rims and tan interior up in till 93.I forgot to strip the rims and paint them the brushed aluminum but I do not want to take them off and fix them.I do not want to take them off and something happens to the suspension.
Johnny1973 Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 90% finished.I have to add FHP decals and lightbar.
Johnny1973 Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 The decals have been added.I purchase the decals off ebay. They are custom made. The The decals are 1/24 scale so the fender decals are big.
jeffbrad Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 What is the match for the yellow/tan on the FHP cars? And is it the same color for the 90s Mustangs as for the Chargers?
Agent G Posted February 3, 2014 Posted February 3, 2014 That looks great! Don't fret the wheel issue. When bulk purchases are made sometimes strange combinations of options emerge. G
