Harry I've been in Vegas six years and still have unopened boxes.

I've been in my current house since 1987, and I still have unopened boxes!

They used to have a White Castle at 3rd and Fremont St. when I lived there...

Long gone. The "Fremont Street Experience" done wiped that out

All that remains are frozen belly bombers at Sam's Club.

I wouldn't eat "sliders" if you paid me.

Good! Leaves more for me! I love 'em. When I was in college way back in 19xx, we made a dorm floor run from Rolla to St. Louis to pick up about 300 sliders to bring back. Was a good road trip.

Why not?

They're cheap, they're good. I'm not saying they're appropriate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but as far as fast food goes, there's nothing wrong with them. A few sliders and a coke every once in a while? Not a bad thing.

If I remember correctly, there was a comparison on TV some time ago of the meat quality between McD's, BK, Wendy's and White Castle...... White Castle won..!!! The only problem I have with them is "gas" hours later.

I think that is from the onions. I like onions, but they don't like me so I try and avoid them..i used to frequent White Castle when I lived in Ohio..don't recall seeing any where I was in Michigan, Colorado or Arizona. I generally avoid fast food, but once in a while I crave McDonald's breakfast biscuit sandwiches..

Mmmmmmm. Sliders is good.

1. One of the earliest White Castles was in downtown Colorado Springs for decades. Slipped away in the very early 70's.

2. One of the best slider joints is the Cozy Inn in Salina, KS (or at least was . . . don't know if it still exists). Started in the 30's and was still going strong in the 80's . . .

3. There's a "joint" here in Phoenix . . . calls itself "Windy City Hamburgers" and serves Chicago Dogs, etc. Great sliders . . . great dogs . . . but all the Bears and Cubs décor is tedious. All I want to do is eat a great lunch with all the Daleys staring down at me from the walls. Even so, the lines are out the door most of the time.
