This is going to be sweet once done. Paint looks really sharp! How did you do the dash gauges?

Bending wire for the step/handrail should not be too terribly hard with a little jig. So I arrogantly say never having done this style myself....LOL

I did the dash by painting the whole thing black, then painting the "wood" areas brown. I drybrushed some black on the wood grain to get a better wood look, then I used a silver sharpie to highlight each gauge. It took a while, but I'm pretty happy with it. Once in the truck you can't really see it anyways.

This build is spot on! The paint job and striping is perfect. I have one of these kits

waiting to be built and learned a lot from this posting.
