flat-top Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Awesome, this one turned out really nice, those super singles really look good on there.
catd11rpusher Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 I like the flames, I will someday learn how to do that, where do you get the info on how to do that? Is that all with an air brush? NICE NICE
Mopar - D Posted October 19, 2013 Author Posted October 19, 2013 Thanks everyone for your comments. Mike I have apost here in work in progress on how I did the flames. I found the hard part was getting the flame template lined up on the sides. The painting turned out to be easy I started with the dark blue then the flame template painted the yellow and then faded the light blue over the yellow.
Heartattaq Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Oh wow.Absolutely love that colour scheme, and for a first time doing flames you did outstanding. The chrome trailer looks great too, fingerprint magnet hehe.
Mopar - D Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Yea the finger prints drove me crazy
Old Buckaroo Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Stunning work on the combo, boy do they really stand out ! You need a pair of those gloves coin collectors wear to handle them.
Petetrucker07 Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Some day i will have 1 of these trailers. Its on the top of my wish list!
Mopar - D Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Thanks for the current comments, since last year I have received 2 first place at the model shows in the Houston area.
hgbben Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Dan, are those the kit wheels and tires on the back of the rig?
Mopar - D Posted August 31, 2014 Author Posted August 31, 2014 Ben, I got the tires from this guy on eBay http://www.ebay.com/sch/bergers10/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25 I used the super singles on the LoneStar and the front floatation tires for the trailer. I did a WIP on this build that's in the on the work bench section. Let me know if you need more information.
