tabsscale1 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 ok gang we all decided on what we're gonna do? I figured more would enter, but hey thats kewl, know where the forum jockys stand, over there--------------------------------->.................... Would have joined in on this but didn't see it
DrKerry Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Would have joined in on this but didn't see it Sweet talk Michael, he may still let you in on it!!!
DrKerry Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Ok, here is what I've been working on. Not much visually. Air scoops in rear quarter/window opening for rear brakes. Interior and chassis, went from snap together chassis to a glue kit unit. Building in fire wall right now. I will be re working the nose and eliminating the lower marker lights. Black lines on door are where new door lines will be. And now my newest dilema, I want to have the car look low. I'm deciding if I should alter the body sides or put on side pipes. I don't think this will look right with the Viper pipes on it though. What do you all think???? They will be up a bit higher on the body.
Kennyboy Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) I think you might be better off checking in your stash for a set that are like an oval outlet that you could run a pipe out of. Hmmmm didn't the VetteAgin have something like that? Just a thought. Or you could do the Nascar style squared off long side exit......? Edited October 16, 2013 by Kennyboy

Talk about it on Saturday if I see ya in Delavan...
customsrus Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 (edited) I would join in on this build, but it takes me way too long to build anymore. Even if you push the end date to January of 2015 I would probably be still not finished Edited October 17, 2013 by customsrus
Kennyboy Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) This weekend's progress: Full extension of the hood forward 5/8"(!) and upward rounding of the front grille area. I've got my work to do on the sides of the car now, so that will clean up the "waviness". Edited October 20, 2013 by Kennyboy

Kennyboy Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 Please tell me you can get this cast and it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg. at Kerry! Shoudn't be too bad on price though. It will be available from Jimmy Flintstone once I get the body done on my end. Looking for a 1950 Oldsmobile business coupe for the roof, my roof is too low right now compared to the 1:1.
