Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 (edited) "Would you two quit playing with "wingie thingies" and BUILD something for Pete (rson's) sake! That spurred both Jack and Jackson into action mighty fast. Jackson decided he should work on a rare '71 Charger R/T. Jack went for something a bit newer. In both cases, there's more done than shown in the pics as work on these two projects commenced yesterday. Edited November 20, 2007 by Mr. Can Am Garage
Gregg1LE Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Both looking good ! Is that pink on the Charger?
dub Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Cool Charger! I really like the scratchbuilt brass rotisserie its sitting on more though! Very trick piece. The paint on the Vette looks pretty nice too. What did you use?
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 10, 2007 Author Posted November 10, 2007 Both looking good ! Is that pink on the Charger? Yes and no. Depending on who's name is on the car, it's either (Plymouth) Moulin Rouge or (Dodge) Panther Pink.

Gregg1LE Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Yes and no. Depending on who's name is on the car, it's either (Plymouth) Moulin Rouge or (Dodge) Panther Pink. It will look great on whichever red/pink it is ! I did a '70 Coronet in that color and it turned out great, good luck with both builds.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 11, 2007 Author Posted November 11, 2007 Both Jack and Jackson were busy working in the Garage today. Jackson. Jack. As you can plainly see, Jack was more motivated that Jackson.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 12, 2007 Author Posted November 12, 2007 Today was Jackson's busy day at least in comparison to Jack. Actual assembly should start tomorrow.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 13, 2007 Author Posted November 13, 2007 Jack's pile of parts has gone down and Jackson's has gone up. Jack's been busy. The engine and front suspension are all done. He hasn't made it to the rear suspension yet. Jackson's been busy too as he's finally started on the engine.
Brendan Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 The build progress is moving along quite nicely. Can't wait to how they're going to look when the kits are finished.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 Looks as though it's gonna take a day or two more than a week for the boys to finish their projects. Jackson managed to make some progress but... Not as much as Jack. Darth Vader. Your car is nearing completion.
Robert81 Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Darth Vader. Your car is nearing completion. Darth drives a Z06? I always thought he would be have a big 4x4 SUV type thing, like a Hummer H1. Nice job on the builds, I love the concept of the figures building the models.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 15, 2007 Author Posted November 15, 2007 It's getting close now. Jackson managed to finish the interior of his project. Meanwhile, Jack is contemplating a test drive in his. With no glass in the car in a snow storm.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 16, 2007 Author Posted November 16, 2007 It's getting to be slim pickings in the parts pile for Jack. All he's got left are the sideview mirrors. Sure wish I could say the same about Jackson. He called in saying he was taking a snow day while prolly means he went out to old Peterson Field and worked on some airplanes.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 17, 2007 Author Posted November 17, 2007 Jack popped into the Garage for a few minutes today. He polished the sides of the car and did the marker lamps. Jackson? MIA.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 18, 2007 Author Posted November 18, 2007 Someone finished his project today. Care to guess who? His name starts with J and end with a k. You can see the finished project in the appropriate section.
Mr. Can Am Garage Posted November 21, 2007 Author Posted November 21, 2007 Jackson wasn't a total slacker today. He finally started work on the BMF.
Jantrix Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 The models look great but all the pics have made me wonder - it's not really normal for a grown man to be playing with dolls? Makes me wonder if there isn't a dollhouse to go with the garage.
