mitchell Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 A simple build just to take some stress out of building big 1/12 kits. Very good kit, not much clean up needed and casting is typical Tamiya excellent with crisp details. Another impressive piece is the dash itself. Almost done, but just need to do the part of the car and the seats.
Austin T Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Very nice.I love the heat wrap under the hood ,it's a great detail most guys don't think of.
1930fordpickup Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I like the dash . The rest is well done also.
o-man Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Cool car. I built one a few months ago, and got another to do.
mitchell Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 yes, this is a simple build because I am not really doing that much detail on it. This car will also be weathered to make it look like it is being used for a few years. So not even going to polish the paint and have some orange peel on it to make it look like currently water base paint finish. At least I finally got the front end painted now, so at least the car is color matched.
mitchell Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 a bit more progress on it. Basically complete the build of the car except the seat. But need to do some wiring under the hood and some weathering on the chassis too.
mitchell Posted October 23, 2013 Author Posted October 23, 2013 Almost ready to sent this one to next section. There are still a few more details that is needed to complete the whole project. Here are some outdoor picture of this car.
John Goschke Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Nice build of an interesting looking car.
Deathgoblin Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Very nice build. I'm gonna have to find one of these.
mitchell Posted October 26, 2013 Author Posted October 26, 2013 thanks for all the positive comments.
