KingSix Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Actually, I think Pesci would make a great Enzo..
cartpix Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 It's not like it's the first time Hollywood let facts get in the way of a good story. Jeff
mrmike Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 Cruise as Shelby?!! I bet this one will be labeled as science fiction, too!
oldcarfan Posted November 2, 2013 Posted November 2, 2013 There are certain actors who I just avoid to save time. My rule of thumb is that if Tom Cruise or John Travolta is in it, I can skip it. Haven't missed out as far as I can tell.
Greg Myers Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 No, no ,no all wrong, you ain't seen this then : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7EdQ4FqbhY
om617 Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Short. Italian. Hook nose. Pesci can do anything. Enzo was quite tall. Dominic Chianese could maby do the job well.
deja-view Posted November 3, 2013 Posted November 3, 2013 Tom Cruise? As Carroll Shelby? Ridiculous! Mr. "I wanna be a real hero" is so overplayed in his fantasy roles it is nauseating. Shelby deserves better than this...MUCH better. Too bad Steve McQueen isn't still alive.
bosshog Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 My 2 cents if anyone is till following this is this, putting cruise and shelby in the same sentence is like hearing Obama and good president but after I thought about it, it actually makes since. Tom has alot of driving experience from stock car to open wheel ...heck I just seen a deal on him not to long ago were he was driving an F1 car and cutting some pretty quick laps. So who knows, might not be to bad. Oh and for the record Barry pepper made a horrid Earnhardt. Take Kevin Costner From wyatt Earp
Nxr Posted December 31, 2013 Posted December 31, 2013 (edited) I also think Matthew McConaughey would do well as Shelby. A movie such as this should be treated like the Steve jobs/Bill gates of the automobile world, it would certainly either be an amazing movie or a complete disaster. Edited December 31, 2013 by Nxr
