Chip Foose 1964 Chevy Impala

Started this kit last night, didn't like the rims that came with it so I bought some new ones. I will be two toning the car with Model Master Deep pearlescent purple and tamiya gunmetal gray once I get an air compressor for my air brush. Anyways onto the pictures of the model.

Thank you, the Foose rims didn't suit it good enough so I got new ones, just need to go buy some drill bits to enlarge the holes so they can fit into the suspension

Back on the bench with this one, had a small accident with the upper a arm broke off the frame and steering knuckle.

Came across a delima, as I was going through my spare parts I found some other rims I forgot I had, maybe you can help me out and give me some feed back on what rims to use.

Ashley. Does the camera you are using have a macro setting? It's usually designated with little flower symbol on most cameras. On most phones that have it, it's in the focus mode selector. This will help you take much better shots close up.

I'm using my iPod touch so it does not, but at the bench again

I think using more light would help with photo quality. It looks like the iPod touch's camera doesn't do too well with low light. Make sure you have an overhead light and a light that is front of the model.

I saw this model at the hobby shop. I wanted to buy it for the wheels, the art work picture looks a whole lot better, than the actual wheels shown on the side of the box. I understand why you didn't want to use them.

Lol yea but i love these old impalas lol but i got some paint done on it. Letting it cure till morning to do wet sanding on it then shoot more color and clear.

I used Rust-Oleum American Accents Ultra Cover 2x coverage gray primer

Did the wet sanding this morning and forgot to put it back on the stand to put over my heater to dry, well it got melted and warped so I'm a little pissed off right now.

Got tired for waiting for revell so I broke down and bought another kit, re doing the whole kit. Will post pics soon.
