I was looking on ebay and saw a resin 1946-1948 dodge resin kit and cannot find it again.does any one know of the manufactuer or where to look?

I wasn't looking for a truck.it was a 4 door car and possibly had several grilles for the different years.the cost was $110.00 plus shipping from a vendor in Pennsylvania.the dodge model would be a d24.the description also mentioned using the 1941 Plymouth as a donor kit[amt/ertl].

I thought you might have seen the Motor City '41 Plymouth four door body someone mistakenly listed as a '46 Dodge, but after checking it out that must not be the case- The Motor City Plymouth does (obviously) use the AMT '41 Plymouth as a donor, but does not include different grilles, costs much less than $110, and to top it off is a Plymouth.

If it was a TKM kit, I don't care how badly anyone wants it, RUN AWAY AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN. They are that bad.

Ah... good old Totally Krap Models. Yeah- that most definitely is NOT what you want!

Gotta chime in, STAY AWAY FROM TKM!!! You are THROWING YOUR MONEY AWAY!!! You might as well burn it as to spend it on ANY TKM ANYTHING!!!! Just BAD NEWS all around!!!! Stay AWAY!!!!!!

It is sad too as he does have some nice subjects. His stuff looks like he never fully mixes his resin before pouring it in the mold That is not the only problem.

tkm is more folk art than anything else. a number of years ago i was in conversations with a guy overseas that had mastered a 46 dodge. but he had some bad dealings with another american caster and decided he didnt trust anyone stateside to cast for him.
