modelcarcrazy Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 I combined the Skylark modified stocker from AMT with the Monogram nascar chassis to build a 70's era late model sportsman car. I grew up watching racecars similar to this race every Friday night at Kingsport Speedway back in the 70's and I have always loved this era of racing. The model didn't take very much modification to work together, mostly to the dash where it meets the cowl. I added a few details and made a few parts for it with some decals from different kits that I mixed together to get the look I wanted. Thanks for checking it out.

bbowser Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Great model, fresh out of the shop. It might not be that clean and straight after a couple of Fridays .
Silver Foxx Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Nice build , I like this style of racing , I have built a couple of sportsman style cars , they are a neat way to use up leftover bodies or chassis.
