Patrick2005 Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Making a Marauder wouldn't be to difficult, just take the 4.6 Cobra motor from the SVT Mustang and add different wheels and there you go!. If you really want to go the extra mile, get a set of Autometer gauges for the center console. Don't have to get to crazy though as the real car had them but they weren't even hooked up properly, so they always read the same reading all the time lol!. Also if you didn't fancy an automatic, you can use the T-56 and make what Ford called the "Cobra Vic". They were made for the Bob Bondurant driving school, read about it in Hot Rod I believe.
mikemodeler Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I hear you on the black paint jobs Chuck! Like the concept, surprised Ford didn't come out with one in response to the Impala, I guess they figured the Taurus SHO was good enough.
mk11 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) Wow, that looks great! Gonna have to grab one of those kits now. Went through the St Thomas factory twice when these were being built. Been wondering about using the motormax '08 for casting the updated front and rear. Of course, there would be some fiddling required but... mike Edited November 20, 2013 by mk11
Chuck Most Posted November 21, 2013 Author Posted November 21, 2013 Ken- those wheels are straight from the Revell Impala kit, no refinishing of any sort, just the kit chrome.
