Erik Smith Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Cool, more Mini stuff. Okay, so, anybody know if this is going to be a straight reissue with added rally parts? Or backdated to reflect the 1961 mentioned in the description? To clarify…aren't both Tamiya and ROG versions 1964 model years? And didn't the ROG version contain some parts for a different version (shift lever)? Also, why are the seats two different colors on the box? And non-flare? I will have to do some Google work to learn a bit more...

The driver's seat is probably a racing seat.. Edited November 16, 2013 by Rob Hall

Rob Hall Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 A '05 Impala in 2014? Makes no sense. Rebox of the old Revell Snap-Tite...I guess someone at RoG wanted a semi-recent American police car in their catalog..
Luc Janssens Posted November 17, 2013 Author Posted November 17, 2013 (edited) Rebox of the old Revell Snap-Tite...I guess someone at RoG wanted a semi-recent American police car in their catalog.. Maybe it's to test the waters, just a guess. fact is since the takeover by Hobbico, lost more of American content makes it into the European lineup Edited November 17, 2013 by Luc Janssens
Brett Barrow Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I think technically they're 4th qtr 2013 releases, but they're doing limited edition reissues of the 1/16 scale Karmann Ghia coupe and the Rally version of the 1/24 Unimog. Probably hit the States in Jan or Feb.
Chillyb1 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 That Unimog is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I didn't know they made that at all, now I've got to add it to the wish list.
Rob Hall Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Speaking of Unimogs, it would be cool to see RoG tool up a vintage one...
Luc Janssens Posted November 25, 2013 Author Posted November 25, 2013 Speaking of Unimogs, it would be cool to see RoG tool up a vintage one... Lassen Projects did a vintage Unimog and was planning another one, but sadly there initial kit tanked...maybe his idea came to early.
