bogger44 Posted November 23, 2013 Posted November 23, 2013 That's an outstanding build. I really like the extra mile you went in detailing under the hood, looks sharp. That color suites the car well too. Congrats! I love those 66-67 Fairlanes.
PappyD340 Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 Thanks for the kind words! Yes Chuck this kit went together quite well and it does have really nice detail already!! Alan Chris Chuck Tony
High octane Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Great job on that "Blue Oval" build as I just picked up two of those kits a couple of weeks ago.
PappyD340 Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 Thanks guys!! Nick, if you haven't already build one of them before you will enjoy building them! Mark Al Ken, yeah I saw that paint at Walmart one day and thought that would look good on the Fairlane!
PappyD340 Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Thanks for the kind words, Steve Tommy Joao John
TFchronos Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Very nice and clean, love the engine detail. Awesome job on it!

shas Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I have the Fairlane on my bench right now and i hope it turns out half as good as yours. Great work and amazing detail .
Ford guy Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Sweet !! Awesome built, I love Fairlanes, and this one is so cool. The detail, especially in the engine compartment, is great. The heater hose clamps are so real looking! Great looking car, great build!
PappyD340 Posted December 1, 2013 Author Posted December 1, 2013 Thank you very much, Aleksander, I am actually working on the Fairlane 427 right now myself but it won't be as detailed as the GT, pretty much out of the box. Roy, a couple of those hose clamps were a real pain in the rump especially the ones on the fuel line.
