Mark Posted November 25, 2013 Share Posted November 25, 2013 The Coronet "rear half" is similar to, but not exactly the same as, the Roadrunner/GTX unit. The over-the-axle "kickup" on the Coronet unit is higher, The Roadrunner/GTX chassis has wheelie bars, the Coronet does not. The RR/GTX has a Dana 60 rear axle, the Coronet has a reinforced/fabricated 9" Ford housing. No idea why different parts were created for the Coronet, but they are different...
