I think I've been spoiled by newer kits, because this thing had a bunch of flash, ill fitting parts, and super tall ride height. Both car and engine were painted with Krylon Global Blue. Interior was painted Ivory with Buff trim. BMF'd trim as best I could. I hope I can get better at this as I go along because right now I hate the stuff. Used a set of minilite wheels and tires from an MPC Charger. I molded in both front and rear fascias which eliminated the bumpers and lowered front suspension as far as I could without radical surgery. On to rest of pictures.

Thanks for the compliments! I will NEVER build another one of these and good luck to you guys that have them in your stashes. Not sure if the Revell versions are any better.

Lee, I'm aware the 53's only came in white, but they also had bumpers too.
