hobbybobby Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 This build lacked only small things, but it was 20 years not ready... It all began with the painting. During this time I have a lot of finger-nail-varnish experiments. I do not know what I combined, it was a beautiful red, which somehow went into purple and on this body, it looked just great. I applied the Piewagondecals and sealed the whole thing with clear lacquer. OOOPPS! The painting was a disaster and the decals were ruined. Somehow I moved the unsuccessful color down and put this red up. But the lost windscreen and a few small parts, stopped this build finally... Now, after 20 years, it is still not the way I wanted it then, but finally finished, I hope, you like it... In this picture you can, more or less, well recognize on the wall of the rear tires, that the time has not passed without trace...(cracks around the tire wall)

SwankmoteeD Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 I loved those Tom Daniel kits when I first saw them years ago. Funky yet cool hot rods. Has anyone done the Paddy Wagon around here recently? How about Tiajuana Taxi? Nice work there man!
