Wonderbread Kustomz Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Converted to a Regal from the Grand National kit... Inca Gold Hoppin Hydros rims 3 wheel motion
PappyD340 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Looks great James, I like the Inca Gold!!
Greg Cullinan Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Looks great. Grill and bumper are perfect.
realgone58 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 I've been thinking about doing a Regal out of the GN as well. I only wish it were 1:25 instead of 1:24. What's involved in the changes to the exterior of the kit?
slusher Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 That's a very good looking build James, excellent work..
Guest Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Nice looking Regal James! I'm gonna have to get one of those kits and do one for myself.
HondaSan72 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 This Regal is a monster!! Loving that 3 wheel motion!! Mean and clean!!! Awesome job!!
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted December 12, 2013 Author Posted December 12, 2013 Thanks guys... Alan, I had to remove the hood bulge, spoiler was shaved which involved describing the trunk line, and the front lower portion had to be trimmed...
realgone58 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Ok, cool. I can handle that. I did that with a Citation Turbo kit to build a base Citation.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 Oh nice... The Citation is one kits wanna get my hands on
ModelKarAddikt30 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 How do u get ur suspension like that? sweet ride
Danno Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Love the color. Love the Regal. Don't care for hoppers. But it's still a nice build. (It's your car, it doesn't have to be my kind of car.)
Chris White Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Awesome James, don't know how I missed this one, my apologies. To quote and expert Shiny rules :)
bryan_m Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 nice! looks like a vehicle from breaking bad season 1 "the cats in the bag" cheers bryan
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted January 31, 2014 Author Posted January 31, 2014 Thanks fellas... Dee, the front is stock, the rear , I used The coils from the 70 Monte Lowrider kit, and mounted one further up in the mounting hole, and the other a bit further down, and the axle has holes that line right up...
captjeffro26 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Really nice job. Did you use BMF for the chrome or did you use the Alcad? Im in the process of building this kit into the T-Type. They looked like the GN, but kept the chrome trim.
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted February 28, 2014 Author Posted February 28, 2014 Really nice job. Did you use BMF for the chrome or did you use the Alcad? Im in the process of building this kit into the T-Type. They looked like the GN, but kept the chrome trim. I actually just used Krylon Aluminum in the can and sprayed it over flat black...
