Brendan Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Finished the Porsche GT3 Petit Le Mans '03 car. Had to take a break from the Cheetah. This car would have been done about 6 months ago but I didn't have the decals. The kit is a Tamiya GT3, a Renaissance full body transkit and the decals are from DMC. The paint is Tamiya TS-8 airbrushed. Some minor fit issues but everything went together fairly well. Feel free to comment. My camera is still acting up...I'm still trying to figure out how to fix the problem.
ismaelg Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Cool racer! That body kit really transforms the GT3 into a mean racer. Thanks,
bigphoto Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Cool racer! That body kit really transforms the GT3 into a mean racer. Thanks, I agree it is very cool and well done!!
Brendan Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Thanks for the nice comments. Hopefully I'll have a 997 out pretty soon...from Profil24. It's going to be a model of the IMSA Performance that ran at Le Mans.
Wildrice Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Great looking Porsche. Looks mean just sitting there.
IMSANUT Posted September 14, 2012 Posted September 14, 2012 Nice. Did you have issues getting the nose to line up with the Tamiya body?
IMSANUT Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Nice. I've got this same trans kit to build the Flying Lizards car. Seems the nose to hood joint is a nose related problem. Mine's the same...
Intmd8r Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 I saw this car run in person. It was LOUD! You nailed the look.
surfjunke Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 Beautiful build. Very nice clean work. Renaissance makes some great products. I have built quite a few of their 1/43 kits.
Scuderia Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Looks awesome, love the stance and look and decals. Nicely done.
bryan_m Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 i love that front shot, very nice build. cheers bryan
