This is a kit I finished begin this year back home in The Netherlands.

Basically box-stock, with some additions. It is from the famous Enthusiast series, my most favourite.

Very nice model of an early Porsche. Those cars laid the foundation for them to become an automotive powerhouse in the world.

That car is one of my favorite '50's Porsches! Yours looks nice and clean!

I built one of those way back when, but my cat destroyed it years ago, and I never rebuilt it. I've since bought another kit, but like a ton of models I have, it's a "someday" build!

I absolutely love the rock guards over the head lights. It looks so realistic. Great finish on a landmark car.

Thank you guys! I love those Enthusiast kits, so much that I am going to want them all actually. I have about 200 kits now, and only 10 of them are Enthusiasts, but still growing

Those rockguards were born out of bare necessity. I bought this kit 'used', still in the box, but some parts got missed in action. the rear lights are completely scratched. the rockguards came because teh headlights were not there either.

I have the Fujimi EM Lambo Countach, EM '76 Porsche 911 RS, and EM '84 Celica to build, and they quite honestly intimidate me!!

would love to have one of those kits though...

those years are my favorite porsches.... what scale is that kit in? did you have to open it up?

James, could you send me pics/more info about the 84 Celica? never seen that one in a EM series. Pretty curious.

Rollin: The scale is the usual 1/24 and the kit came like this, a trademark for the Enthusiast series is that both trunk and hood are openable.

I went and pulled my EM kit stash out, and the Celica is not an EM series kit.

it is a "Hi-Mechanism" series kit, which to me, based on parts count and level of detail in the kit, is no different from the EM series..

Beautiful work. I too like the 356 Porsche's as I have had to privilege to see many at vintage races

and they are just cool!!!
