Swamp Dog Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 since its a yard goat ,,,maybe a multa color like u had to change parts (valve cover) and didn't have time to paint to match..just saying..
Petetrucker07 Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 I just noticed the missing fuel cap with the leaking fuel. Im sure theres more i havent seen yet. Just amazing work.
Mackvision Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 The older Detroits in Macks from the era this truck would represent would indeed be "Alpine Green" (The bluish-green you mentioned) Roadway did in fact use Detroits in Macks (very un-common) but abandoned the idea after the engines were proved to be problematic. Don't forget to add leaking oil detail on the engine! as they were notorious for leaking!..................................Mark
Arnd Posted July 13, 2014 Author Posted July 13, 2014 (edited) Hallo guys I worked a bit on the Mack yesterday. Not a big step but some nice little details are ready. tbill Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 this is really coming along nice, looks beat up......perfect!
Superpeterbilt Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 Ive been watching this, and its coming along great. This being a Mack of a certain age, it wouldnt be authentic without oil leaking out of the dashboard. Keep up the good work.
